The Guernsey airline says the price of leasing aircraft to cover technical problems, as well as global supply chain issues, drove unexpected costs.

There are calls for Jersey and Guernsey's governments to be tougher on airlines and force through greater protections for passengers if they are disrupted.

It comes after a string of unexpected events for the State owned airline in 2024.
