Gwent Police say that emergency services were called to a blaze on Adam Street, Abertillery on Sunday morning.

Dozens of people were forced from their homes overnight, as mud and water came up to their windows following Storm Bert.

The girl, who suffered life-changing injuries, was taken to hospital where she is receiving treatment, the force added.
