Minimum Wage

The 5% increase will see the island set a slightly higher adult base salary than the UK but it still falls behind Jersey.

The Jersey charity Caritas say the living wage has never been as important in the island.

Some politicians are worried the change will push up prices but Guernsey States Members still approved upping the adult minimum wage from £10.65 to £12 an hour.
