Twelve new mpox vaccination sites have opened across England, so every region will be able to offer jabs to those at a higher risk of getting the infection.

The affected person, who had recently returned from Uganda, is under specialist care in Sheffield.

Two more cases of a strain of mpox that is thought to be more transmissble have been detected in the UK, the Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has said.
