A prisoner has been killed and three security guards injured in a shootout during a prison break in southern Pakistan.

India have said their strikes into Pakistan-controlled Kashmir and Pakistan last week killed more than 100 militants.

The two countries have traded missile strikes, drone attacks and artillery fire in their most serious confrontation in decades.
