Several fire crews were called to Froggatt Edge in the Peak District on Friday afternoon after a blaze took hold on the moorland.

The owner of a multi-million pound stately home in the Peak District has told how she made it her mission to buy the property after a school trip.

Gritters were unable to get through a Peak District road because of 200 cars double parked on it, a council said.
