Vardy's barrister has said Rooney is now claiming for more than £300,000 in "assessment costs".

Vardy had unsuccessfully sued Rooney in the 2022 Wagatha Christie libel case and the two are now in dispute over the legal costs Vardy should pay.

Vardy's lawyers are appealing the amount due to be paid after the 'Wagatha Christie' trial saying Rooney's legal team committed "serious misconduct".
