Two arrested in search for missing Cardiff woman

Police have appealed for information following the disappearance of a 37-year-old woman in Cardiff.

Paria Veisi, from the Cathays area, was last seen on Saturday, 12 April, at approximately 3pm.

South Wales Police confirmed she was seen on CCTV leaving her place of work in Canton, before being reported missing the following day.

Her black Mercedes GLC 220 was located on Tuesday evening, 15 April 15, in Dorchester Avenue, Penylan.

A man, 41, and a woman, 48, have been arrested in connection with her disappearance and are in police custody.

Ms Veisi's disappearance has been described as "totally out of character" with officers "concerned for her welfare."

In a statement, South Wales Police described her as having "long, curly, black hair – she was last seen wearing a black zip-up gym top over a red top, black trousers, and trainers. She was carrying a small handbag."

They're appealing for any mobile phone, CCTV camera, doorbell or dash-cam footage.
